A Ladino song in which a daughter tells her mother that she cannot eat because she is suffering for love. She waits by the window hour after hour while her mother chastises her for not behaving with more honor. Ladino is the language spoken by the Jews of Spain. It combines Hebrew, Spanish, Arabic among other languages of the lands to which the Jews migrated after their expulsion from Spain.
